Rooted n Ritual is the practice of grounding, reframing thoughts, being gentle & kind, setting intentions, and manifesting the life you deserve.
Rooted n Ritual believes in the power of plants and crystals assisting in bringing positive and new energy flow to you and your surrounding spaces.
Plants don't have to be large and abundant... they are imperfect, unique and beautiful, just like us... A small clipping is all you need to bring some new life, energy, happiness, mend a friendship, and or spread some kindness.

HI, I'm Genevieve!
I like puzzles, iced coffee (decaf & homemade) or a loose herbal tea, I love to swim, I lOvE FOOD especially anything vegetarian or vegan ( though I am pescatarian), I love playing video games, reading thriller and horror novels and I LoVe Plants, if I had to choose, philodendron is my favourite plant genus… though Hoya’s are a very close second… Ranunculus are my favourite flowers however Hellebores steal my heart every time. I collect crystals, my favourite are Ocean Jasper, Clear Quartz, Black tourmaline, Moss Agate, Lodolite (Garden Quartz), & FLOWER AGATE… THOUGH all ARE SO SPECIAL AND BEAUTIFUL CAN’T REALLY CHOSE.
I started Rooted n Ritual as I wanted to share my personal practice of, grounding, moving through anxiety and pain (I have endometriosis), with a touch of moon Magick and Plant magick to supporting big feelings while finding your way back to yourself.
I am hoping to spread kindness and good vibes to everyone and everything through plants and crystal combinations.
A bit about me is, I turned 40 in a pandemic and I felt like I lost myself… I had to start slowly reintroducing myself to, myself, and I started with therapy. I explored little me…my love of plants and nature started at a very young age through my families love of plants, my Caribbean heritage, my mother’s stories of Australia, our collective love of science and art.
So I emersed myself in a world of plants and crystals and love… to discover, some of my happiest memories are of Running through my Nanny’s (grandma) property in Antigua, getting lost in her lush greenhouse/solarium with giant philodendron, rich Alocascia, trailing and crawling Pothos & vibrant, rhododendron, and fragrant hibiscus all alive with the sounds of birds, lizards, frogs and wildlife. Coming back to Canada and sitting in my father’s Sun room with enormous dracena, Philodendron, Lush ferns and orchids…. Visiting my aunt’s place and watching them garden and landscape using rocks, flowers and water.
All of it has Helped Shape who I am and guided me back when I was lost…every time.
I love my family and it’s deep roots… Ancestrally, spiritually, culturally & artistically.

Crystal infused Soil
This soil is packed with good things for our plants to have a proper start.
Ingredients: Coconut coir, lava rock, Perlite, Sphagnum Moss, Wormcastings, bark, Clear crystal quartz sand & Chips, black tourmaline chips , a pinch of black salt and brick dust, all ritually prepared and packaged.
Purchase a kit or on it's own to mix with any soil if you are planning to repot a plant at home.

The plants are purchased and sourced from a local shops in Southern Ontario. All crystals are hand selected by Genevieve, and purchased at local shops in Southern Ontario as well as from Stonebridge Imports Wholesale. All are ethically sourced and mined.
